I have a passion for supporting and empowering families in the sexual health and birth education process. I have the desire to make a positive impact on the world by helping families and young people navigate this journey. I came to birth work, as I have a deep sense of empathy and caring for others. Communication skills are essential in birth work, it involves supporting families through an emotionally and physically intense experience. As a Birth worker I advocate for the rights and choices of families during the childbirth process. I work to ensure that families are informed and able to make decisions that align with their values and goals. The learning cannot stop there though! I endeavor to take the knowledge and experience that I have gained through my birth work and continue the education with sexual health and keeping our young people informed!
